Nylon material - should it be labeled as "Plastic" (EV000139)?
Hello,
I was wondering for products that are made of Nylon, if their material should be classified as a Plastic (EV000139), as nylon is inside the plastic family, or as "Others" (EV000154).
I haven't found an EV for nylon.

Hi Roberto, Nylon did exist in ETIM, but is a brand name owned by Dupont. I think they actually wrote a letter to ETIM Germany that using this brand name was not allowed. So every reference to nylon is removed. But it actually is EV000402: Polyamide (PA). If polyamide is not in the list for material then you chose Plastic and then usually you can choose Polyamide in the Material quality feature.
